Site Superintendent & Assistant Project Manager

Rumble Energy is a growing solar-energy company which seeks a Site Supervisor and Assistant Project Manager to work on commercial, residential, and residential solar PV projects for. We are looking for a well-organized, experienced, professional who would like to advance their career into a supervisory position. We are looking for an individual who can help manage the installation of commercial, residential and government solar projects ranging in size from 3 kW to 10 MW both on-site and from our offices. We are looking for someone who is comfortable taking on multiple projects, and who is confident in their ability to manage under tight deadlines. The candidate should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. We are seeking a candidate whom understands production requirements and can manage a workforce to deadline. • Attend site walks and pre-construction planning meetings with the project manager and engineering team as required

• Work with the project manager to create the construction schedule, determine labour requirements and perform project pre-planning

• Manage and maintain the construction schedule, reporting back to project manager on a daily basis

• Order, release and replace temporary labourers as needed

Set goals for all crews and motivate and manage to keep on task

• Manage performance, productivity and work quality of all crews to complete projects on time

• Manage and schedule sub contractor(s)

• Order and coordinate the delivery of material and equipment to optimize job efficiency, ensure production is not impacted or additional cost incurred

• Generating permit packages


Our ideal candidate will possess:

• Experience with project management of large commercial projects </?xml:namespace>

• Working knowledge of AC and DC electrical systems

• General understanding of common building materials and techniques (i.e. lumber, roofing materials, framing, etc.)

• Experience with electrical wiring in commercial applications

• Experience creating, reading, and maintaining project schedules

• Experience reading, marking up and working off blueprints and specifications

• Disciplined, self-motivated work style

• Confident leadership and ability to work independently

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Team player who listens, learns, and actively communicates

• Visual thinker good at problem solving and implementing ideas

• Computer Skills with emphasis on Microsoft Project, the Microsoft Office suite and overall internet use
